About us

As Muen Percussion, we set out with the idea of bringing instruments from the past to the present, aiming to create newer, more aesthetic, and better products, while also ensuring they are easy to use.
With a quarter-century of instrument-making experience behind us, we are moving forward on this path with the right strategy, the right wood, and the right craftsmanship. We leave a mark on the sound and follow the path of sound with the touches we add to the bendir, made of a skin and wood, and the tambourine and its derivatives, consisting of a frame, skin, and cymbals.
Our journey continues with a technique known in instrument making as "steam bending." The soaked wood is steamed and bent in its solid form to create the frames of the instruments. Thus, while the fibrous structure of the wood is preserved, new instruments with new designs are brought into the world of music from the characteristics of its own body structure.
With the technique we use, we produce high-quality and aesthetic products by preserving the natural structure of the wood. Each instrument is the result of meticulously processed materials and masterly knowledge. While bringing traditional craftsmanship together with modern approaches, as Muen Percussion, we carry the voice of tradition to the present day and aim to make the impressive power of music felt at every stage.
